信息通信技术产业是构建国家信息基础设施，提供网络和信息服务，全面支撑经济社会发展的战略性、基础性和先导性产业。为了推动信息通信技术的学术交流和学科发展，聚焦信息通信领域的前沿成果和发展趋势，研讨学术界与工业界科研热点与关键技术问题，定于2025年11月21日通过线上线下结合的方式召开“2025年上海大学通信与电子信息青年学者论坛”。本次论坛由上海大学主办，上海大学通信与信息工程学院承办，热忱欢迎海内外信息通信领域的青年学者莅临。
Information and communication technology industry is a strategic, fundamental and leading industry that builds national information infrastructure, provides network and information services, and comprehensively supports economic and society development. Shanghai University Young Scholars Forum on Communication and Electronic Information will be held online and offline on November 21th, 2025, to promote the academic communication and subject development of information and communication technology, focus on the cutting-edge achievements and development trends in the information and communication field, and discuss research focuses and key technical issues in academia and industry. This forum is hosted by Shanghai University and undertaken by the School of Communication and Information Engineering. Scholars from all over the world working on information and communication science and technology are sincerely welcomed.

About the School
上海大学是上海市属的综合性研究型大学，是教育部与上海市人民政府共建高校，是国家“211 工程”重点建设高校、上海市高水平地方大学建设高校，是国家“双一流”建设高校。
通信与信息工程学院是通信、电子、信息领域人才培养和科学研究的重要基地。学院由通信工程系、电子信息工程系、上海大学光纤研究所和上海电子物理研究所组成。学院现有教职工160余名，包括国家级高层次人才10名、省级人才40余名。学院拥有省部共建国家重点实验室培育基地、省部共建教育部重点实验室、教育部国际合作联合实验室、科技部学科创新引智基地、上海市特种光纤与光接入网重点实验室、上海先进光波导智能制造与测试专业技术服务平台等重要平台基地。
新一代电子信息是推动国家战略和上海城市经济数字化转型与高质量发展的核心引擎，是上海构建现代化产业体系、提升全球竞争力的战略基石，是学校着力发展的十大重点领域之一。学院正瞄准国际前沿的学科研究方向，根据国际和上海市的经济发展需求，锐意进取，进一步使学院成为国家通信和信息技术应用基础研究基地、高新技术研发基地和高层次人才培养基地。
Shanghai University is a comprehensive research-focused university in Shanghai. It is a jointly established institution by the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. The university is a key member of the national “211 Project”, a pilot institution for building up one of high-level local universities in Shanghai, and a part of the national “Double First-Class” university construction initiative.
School of Communication and Information Engineering is an important base for education and scientific research in the fields of communication, electronics and information. The school involves the Department of Communication Engineering, the Department of Electronic Information Engineering, the Optical Fiber Research Institute of SHU, and the Shanghai Institute of Electronic Physics. At present, more than 160 faculty members are working here, including 10 national high-level talents and over 40 provincial talents. The school owns provincial and ministry co-construction of state key laboratory cultivation base, provincial and ministry co-construction of key laboratory of the Ministry of Education, international cooperation joint laboratory of the Ministry of Education, the base under the “Overseas Expertise Introduction Project for Discipline Innovation” of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Specialty Fiber Optics and Optical Access Networks, Shanghai Advanced Optical Waveguide Intelligent Manufacturing and Testing Professional Technical Service Platform, etc.
The new generation of electronic information is the core engine driving national strategies and the digital transformation and high-quality development of Shanghai's urban economy. It is the strategic cornerstone for Shanghai to build a modern industrial system and enhance its global competitiveness, and one of the ten key fields that the university focuses on developing. Our school is focusing on the researches at the international frontier, serving the country construction strategy, making the school a nationally-renowned base on the application/fundamental researches about communication and information technology, high-tech R&D researches and high-level talent trainings.

1） 特种光纤及先进光子技术
新型光纤及光纤光子技术、光纤通信及光放大、光纤传感技术、激光技术与应用、光电信息融合技术、微纳光学与集成光子器件、人工智能光子学、量子及能源光子学、生物光子学等。
2） 先进宽带通信技术
先进光通信技术、光网络系统、6G、低空信息传输与处理、卫星互联网、宽带无线通信、天线与射频技术、无线电能传输技术、太赫兹、信号与信息处理、空天地海通信、通信基带与射频芯片等。
3）视觉智能计算与安全
沉浸式视觉智能处理、未来媒体智能分析、机器视觉与人工智能、智能模型保护与管理、人工智能安全等。
The topics of the forum will be (but not limited to) as follows:
Topic 1: Specialty Optical Fiber and Advanced Photonic Technology (including new optical fiber and fiber photonics technology, optical fiber communication and optical amplification, optical fiber sensing technology, laser technology and application, Optoelectronic information fusion technology, micro/nano optics and integrated photonic devices, artificial Intelligence photonics, quantum and energy photonics, biophotonics, etc.)
Topic 2: Advanced Broadband Communication Technology (including advanced optical communication technology, optical network system, 6G, low-altitude information transmission and processing, satellite internet, broadband wireless communication, antenna and radio frequency technology, wireless energy transmission technology, terahertz, signal and information processing, air-space-earth-sea communication, communication baseband and RF chip, etc.)
Topic 3: Visual Intelligent Computing and Security (including immersive visual intelligent processing, future media intelligent analysis, machine vision and artificial intelligence, intelligent model protection and management, artificial intelligence security, etc.)

1）具有海内外知名大学博士学位；
2）具有海内外知名高校、科研机构、企业研发机构等从事科研工作的经历；
3）海内外优秀博士后。
We sincerely invite excellent scholars from all over the world working in the disciplines and fields of information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, etc., to join this forum.
Requirements (any 1 in 3):
1) A doctoral degree from the renowned universities
2) Research experience in renowned universities, research institutions, or R&D department of the companies
3) Excellent post-doctoral researchers

学校对申请人进行资格审核后，于2025年11月14日前通过邮件向审核通过人员发送正式邀请函。
For those who are interested in attending the forum, please complete the submission with the documents by email to sciehr@oa.shu.edu.cn before November 10th, 2025. Please include "2025 Young Scholars Forum –Applicant name - Current employer - Online/Offline participation" in the subject of email. The submission documents includes the registration form (please click to download the attachment) and resume.
